Hi, I’m Madison (she/her)! I’m an Occupational Therapist practicing here in Saskatoon at The Village YXE. I completed my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the University of Saskatchewan before completing my Master of Occupational Therapy at the University of Alberta in 2025.
I have been working with children with Autism since 2014 and have experience supporting children and youth with developmental, behavioural, and mental health needs. I have a particular interest in working with neurodivergent children and supporting sensory processing, emotional regulation, interoception, social participation, and independence. I also have a strong interest in working with Indigenous children, youth, and families. Through both my professional experience and personal connections, I have developed a meaningful appreciation and understanding of Indigenous cultures, traditions, and practices, and I strive to bring cultural humility and respect into my work.
My approach is relationship-based, strengths-focused, and play-based. I believe children learn best when they feel safe, connected, and engaged, and I aim to make therapy meaningful and enjoyable. I draw from approaches including DIR/Floortime, Interoception, and Social Thinking, while tailoring therapy to each child's strengths, interests, goals, and individual needs. I value working closely with families and believe that collaboration is an important part of creating meaningful progress that carries over into everyday life.
Outside of being an OT, I’m a new mom and enjoy spending time with my family. I’m so excited to be part of The Village YXE and to support children and families as they work toward their goals!

Katie Forsyth

Services for Children Ages 1+
Katie is an occupational therapist with a passion for working with children and families. A proud graduate from the University of Alberta, she is excited to be back home in Saskatoon to build her career in pediatric OT, with a particular interest in sensory processing and helping children build confidence in their everyday lives.
With over a decade of experience as a dance teacher, Katie has helped foster supportive environments where kids can learn, grow, and celebrate their strengths. She has wanted to be an OT since high school and is thrilled to finally be putting that passion into practice!
She believes that every child brings their own unique strengths and perspective, and that therapy should be individualized, meaningful, and— most importantly— fun. She is so excited to be part of The Village!
