Services for Pre-Conception, Pregnancy, Postpartum, Pediatrics & Whole Family Wellness
Hi, I’m Dr. Sami Leung, a licensed Naturopathic Doctor practicing in Saskatoon, SK. I am in good standing with the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND), the Saskatchewan Association of Naturopathic Doctors (SAND), and the Saskatchewan Association of Naturopathic Practitioners (SANP).
My approach to care is both evidence-informed and individualized. I have a particular interest in supporting women through pre-conception, pregnancy, and postpartum care. Whether you’re navigating morning sickness, insomnia, postpartum anxiety or depression, heartburn, or restless legs, I’m here to help. I also enjoy working with the pediatric population, especially with concerns like colic, reflux, eczema, ADHD, and more. I also support patients experiencing cognitive concerns such as brain fog, memory difficulties, perimenopausal brain changes, andearly-stage Alzheimer’s. Though these are areas I love working in, I welcome people of all ages and health concerns into my practice.
I have a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (Honours) with a minor in Psychology from the University of Saskatchewan, and I earned my diploma in Naturopathic Medicine from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine – Boucher Campus in New Westminster, BC.
When I’m not in the clinic, I love spending time with my daughter, dog, and husband. I stay active with spin and fitness classes and enjoy being active whenever I can.
I look forward to supporting you along your health journey at The Village YXE!

Naturopathic medicine is a form of primary healthcare that blends modern scientific knowledge with traditional and natural forms of medicine. Naturopathic doctors (NDs) aim to identify and treat the root cause of illness using individualized treatment plans that may include nutrition, lifestyle changes, botanical medicine, supplementation, and functional testing.
-
Licensed naturopathic doctors complete a 4-year accredited naturopathic medical program after an undergraduate degree. Training includes biomedical sciences, clinical diagnostics, pharmacology, and evidence-based natural therapies. To become licensed, naturopathic doctors must pass two standardized licensing exams—NPLEX Part I (Biomedical Science Examination) and NPLEX Part II (Clinical Science Examination)—as well as board exams. Ongoing professional development and maintaining good standing with organizations like CAND, SAND, and SANP are also essential for continued licensure.
